What is the Behavioral Research Supervisory System?
The Behavioral Research Supervisory System (BRSS) is designed to manage the performance of master’s students in BATS and undergraduate thesis students who are completing projects as a part of their thesis requirements. Continuous quality improvement is conducted by collecting data on timeliness, quality of supervision, and social validity. Three projects are of particular focus to BRSS: the autism projects completed by master’s students, the work completed by undergraduate thesis students assisting master’s students, and the autism posters (presented at the MAC and BAAM conference).
Be A Research Assistant!
BATS is always conducting research and want you to be a part of it. Research Assistants (RAs) are placed with one of the doctoral students to help them conduct research for their dissertation. RAs get experience collecting data and IOA, running sessions, graphing, and much more. Apply with the document linked on the right to get involved!
Do A Thesis With Us!
Interested in doing some of your own research? Become a thesis student! Undergraduate thesis students conduct their own research including collecting data, editing procedures, graphing, and writing an whole thesis. BRSS helps each thesis student work through writing a thesis (which can count as a thesis with the Lee Honors College) with performance management and breaks it down into easy to manage pieces.
