Special Education and Behavioral Connections is currently seeking Masters prepared Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and ABA Clinicians (BCBA Eligible) to join our home and center based autism program in  Flint, MI.  This is a fee for service position with room for growth into full time as the program continues to grow.

Special Education and Behavioral Connections provides Applied Behavior Analysis services through the Michigan Autism Waiver to children and adolescents with an Autism Diagnosis. These services are designed to meet the increasingly complex challenges of those with an ASD diagnosis by providing the right supports in the most efficient, effective, evidence-based manner to enhance traditional programs. POSITION DETAILS

In this position, you will have a direct impact in enhancing a child’s ability to succeed. The BCBA will support in our home and center-based ABA program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Providing supervision to the Behavior Technicians along with supporting the individuals in our program
  • Completing VB-MAPPs and assessments for new referrals, re-evaluations and parent training
  • Developing child specific program books, including activities and data collection as well as behavioral/crisis plans
  • Support the Behavior Technicians through implementation of the treatment goals, program book, IPOS, behavioral/crisis plans and documentation

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Master of Science in Behavior Analysis with current BCBA certification
  • One year of experience working with children with autism

    -OR-

  • Master of Science in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related approved program
    • Must have completed at least 3 of the 6 required courses to sit for the BCBA certification exam
    • Must have all courses complete and be eligible to sit for the BCBA exam by 9/30/2020
  • Bachelor’s degree is sufficient when coupled with current BCABA Certification
  • One year of experience working with children with autism
