MedCerts is a dynamic training provider specializing in the development, delivery, and support of online healthcare certification programs. We are currently developing a program that will prepare candidates to become certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). We are looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA or BCBA-D) to provide expertise during the development phase, and provide final assurance that the program meets the requirements of the RBT Task List and is a product suitable for market. In this role as RBT Program Advisor, you will lend your expertise and experience to the development of RBT curriculum/educational programming, including instructional practices and skills assessment. The candidate will ensure that the curriculum of the highest quality. As the Program Advisor, you will define student learning outcomes and will ensure that all outcomes have been met upon completion of the RBT program. Additionally, the Program Advisor will review all produced video product to ensure that appropriate language, text, graphics, and illustrations are included in the program, and offer suggestions for replacements if needed.
The Program Advisor lends his/her name to the program as the BCBA/RBT Subject Matter Expert. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in working with staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. Candidates should have impeccable organization skills, and thrive in a fast-paced/dynamic environment.
This is a short-term contract position lasting approximately two months, after which there may be an extension to the contract period based on the needs of the program/company. For the right candidate, an ongoing consulting role may also follow the successful development/launch of the RBT program curriculum.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Help to identify creative learning solutions through the use/adoption of innovative technology.
Ensure that the RBT curriculum and delivery methods are in full compliance with requirements dictated by the BACB.
Collaborate and cooperate with the MedCerts Product Development Team to ensure the highest quality product is produced.
Participate and contribute to the RBT Program Steering Committee
Must currently hold the BCBA or BCBA-D credential in good standing.
Master degree in ABA, Education, or Psychology; doctorate preferred.
Must have experience supporting the development/training of RBT Candidates.
Must exhibit exceptional written and oral communication skills
Must hold an advanced understanding of principles and instructional strategies based on ABA
Must be proficient with the use of computers
Must be able to consistently demonstrate the highest levels of integrity and ethical behavior
