Manhattan Psychology Group, PC (MPG) seeks to hire a part-time BCBA to join our growing private psychology practice in Manhattan.

MPG is a thriving private treatment group in Manhattan with 6 offices on the UWS and UES. MPG provides psychological services for children, adolescents and adults, and owns the eDRC (Electronic Daily Report Card) system and Big Apple Day Program, a social skills treatment camp in Manhattan.

We’re seeking an applicant with at least 1 year post-licensure experience treating children and adolescents with ASD with ABA. Applicant must be comfortable performing school consultations, ABA assessments (FBAs and BIPs), developing ABA programs, supervising and training RBTs, providing parent/family training, and testifying at impartial hearings. Also, the BCBA applicant must be highly trained in evidence based ABA, specifically natural environment protocols.

BCBA would make his/her own schedule to see fee-for-service patients and must be available at least 10-20 hour per week to work remotely in/around Manhattan.

There is administrative support with scheduling, patient correspondences, and paperwork. Candidate would receive regular supervision from Dr. Rosenthal and operate as part of a comprehensive treatment team.

Prefer BCBA applicants who are also licensed psychologists or social workers in New York State, but will also accept other mater’s level professionals, such as Teachers, OT/PT, and SLP. Applicant must have his/her own malpractice insurance and NPI number.

Pay is a competitive percentage of gross income based on experience. Reimbursement for continuing education is included. No other benefits.

Position is ideal for someone with a current part-time job with children (school, hospital, etc…) but who does not already have their own or work at another private practice or competing agency. Additional opportunities to lead social skills groups and participate at Big Apple Day Program. Applicant cannot be currently employed by the NY DOE as an employee.

Position would start ASAP.
